Hotel Missoni Kuwait: All the Colorful Details

The Missoni Hotels are coming! The Italian fashion brand famous for its loud, brightly-colored prints, Missoni, is getting set to debut its first two hotels — one in Edinburgh, Scotland this Spring, followed by a Kuwait City property set to debut in August or September.
While the Edinburgh property is going to be done mostly in blacks, whites and silvers, expect the hotel in Kuwait to feature the bright, crazy hues you have come to associate with the brand (lots of gold, turquoise and beige, specifically) across the 106 rooms and 63 suites.

We got our hands on some images and some more juicy design deets (thanks to dedicated tipster KB): the lobby of Hotel Missoni Kuwait City will feature large mosaic urns "which will become something of a Hotel Missoni trademark," according to the official description of the property. Every Hotel Missoni will contain oversized urns like these, each one decorated in the color scheme of each property. Hmm. Okay.
Inside the rooms, expect TV's in all the bathroom mirrors, free WiFi, Missoni-scented toiletries and three telephones (plus, of course, Missoni textiles). Outside your room, indulge at the 1200 sq. metre Six Senses spa, or swim in the pool tiled with the signature Missoni stripe pattern.
An open-all-day restaurant, Cucina, will offer Italian dishes, while an open kitchen will "add to the vibrant atmosphere." There will also be a Choco Café serving coffees, teas and light dishes.
Again, this is the second Missoni fashion hotel opening up; the 136-room Missoni Edinburgh is slated to open its doors first in June.
